CWTSH Wellbeing Networks and the wellbeing guides
Cwtsh is key part of the Integrated Wellbeing Networks (IWN) programme, which aims to support and strengthen wellbeing and health in our communities to improve people’s quality of life and reduce the strain on healthcare and other services. In the Caerphilly County Borough area, the programme primarily operates in several focus localities but also seeks to support and develop opportunities elsewhere where it can. A key part of IWN is to ensure regular, local accessible wellbeing information for all hence this site and the Cwtsh guides.
Being well connected to your community - its people, places and activities - is hugely beneficial for our wellbeing and health. The CWTSH guides are produced by the Integrated Wellbeing Networks team in conjunction with Dewis and GAVO, with the support of local wellbeing connectors, to help people find out what's on in their area to support and improve their wellbeing and health.
Currently, we produce weekly guides for the Rhymney, New Tredegar, Bargoed, Risca, Ystrad Mynach and Nelson areas as well as the Van ward in Caerphilly. We hope to expand this further again in coming months.
